Our Red Reishi mushrooms are cultivated at Midwest Mushrooms in Nebraska, harvested with care, and dried soon after harvest. The dried fruiting bodies are ground into a versatile whole-mushroom powder with Reishi’s naturally earthy, distinctly bitter flavor.

How to Prepare

Reishi is traditionally prepared as a simmered tea rather than mixed directly into a cold drink. Add the desired amount to water and simmer for at least 30 minutes; a longer simmer creates a stronger brew. Strain if desired.

Reishi’s flavor is naturally bitter. Honey, ginger, lemon, orange peel, or another favorite tea may be added to taste.
